Research Interests
Dr. Angelos’ professional interests include internal medicine and infectious diseases of food producing animals, pathogenesis and prevention of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis, pharmacokinetics of antibiotics in ruminants, and development of improved vaccination/vaccine delivery strategies to support sustainable food production practices. Dr. Angelos received his veterinary degree from Cornell University in 1992 and completed advanced post-graduate clinical training at the University of Minnesota and the University of California, Davis prior to becoming board certified in large animal internal medicine in 1997. Dr. Angelos completed a PhD in Comparative Pathology at UC Davis in 2002 and has over 10 years of food animal clinical and didactic teaching experience in the UC Davis professional DVM curriculum.
